Please note that this still is a beta version, it has been re-created from scratch using a new programming tool: Free Pascal / Lazarus.
Version 4.0 beta still misses a number of features from TreePad Lite for Windows, such as: import, print, settings, system tray, copy/paste subtrees. We will add most (or all) of these features in the course of 2012.

Compatibility
Version 2.2.1 has been created using Kylix ('Delphi for Linux') which unfortunately was terminated several years ago by Borland, so the programming tool is no longer updated and made compatible with newer Linux distributions.
You may experience font-related issues and other problems due to incompatibilities with your current Linux distribution.
To avoid these issues, it is recommended that you use version 4.0 beta (listed above) or - for the time being - use Wine to run TreePad Lite for Windows on Linux.
