Article statistics
To display article statistics:
- Click Main menu ⁄ Edit ⁄ Article statistics; or
- Press Ctrl+F7.
This will display a small dialog showing
- Number of words
- Number of lines
- Number of pages
- Number of characters
- Full path of current node
of the selected block of text. If no text is selected the information applies to the entire article or draftpad.
If the draftpad has focus, then statistics of the draftpad will be shown.
Notes:
- The number of characters is considerably less than the number of bytes (disk space) taken up by the article since extra bytes are needed for formatting, etc. To find the node's size in bytes, see Subtree statistics.
