To customize your tree search you can use these options which can be found inside the "Search tree" dialog:

(1) "Search the total tree"
TreePad will search the entire tree.

(2) "Search the subtree"
TreePad will only search the selected subtree (i.e. the current node and all its descendants)

(3) Search nodes only
For this option you need to disable/uncheck the box "Articles" and have the option "Nodes" enabled/checked.
This way only node titles will be included in the search (articles will be ignored).

(4) Search articles only
For this option you need to disable/uncheck the box "Nodes" and have the option "Articles" enabled/checked.
This way only articles will be included in the search (node titles will be ignored).

(5) Search nodes and articles (default).
Make sure that both boxes "Nodes" and "Articles" are enabled/checked. Both node titles and articles will be included in the search.

(6) "Maximum number of rows in search result"
You can limit the maximum number of rows that the search will return. Suppose you limit it to ten, then even if your search would yield 100 items (without any limits specified) only the first ten items will be shown.
